Should Geeta return to India?

These days we get much news about a Hindu girl staying in a relief home in Karachi. The story goes that the girl was found by Pakistani police in Pakistan having alighted from some train that came from India. This happened some fifteen years ago, then she was about eleven years of age. Ever since then that girl stays with her foster parents who are Muslim and they take care of her as if she is their daughter. The girl is called Geeta but she says her parents were calling her Guddi. Wonderful part is that the foster parents have never tried to push their religion on the girl and she is free to worship her Hindu deities. She is provided with photo frames of Hindu gods and goddesses. I was much delighted to read this news. Of all the countries in Pakistan a Muslim foster parents allow their adopted daughter to practice her religion and that too Hindu religion! This news made somethings clear that there are good people even in Pakistan where people are killed in the name of religion everyday.

Now there is a move to bring her to India. Our minister Sushman Swaraj has taken initiative in the matter. My question to our government is, what they will do by bringing that girl, who is now about twenty four years of young woman, in India. They say they want to find her parents or family in India. The proper method is not bring her here in India but to get only her DNA and begin to match it with prospective people. It is the most accepted scientific method and not bring this liability. I say liability because who will look after that girl? It is good that she is already well being looked after by her present foster parent, that arrangement we should not disturb unless we are sure of her whereabouts in India. There are other things about this woman, she is mute but not deaf; she knows sign language properly and communicates in that with ever body. My suggestion is after collecting her DNA we should help her in learning Hindi reading and writing so that she will be able to write down her mind properly. Sign language is so far not so well developed that it may replace writing language in communication.
With her DNA we can trace her relations more easily. There are some tips from some corners and that shows that this woman is from a very poor background. Probably a family of beggars. One theory indicates that while begging this girl entered in that train which was going to Pakistan and landed in Pakistan as the train reached there. If Pakistani police had not caught her probably this girl would have come back to India by the return when that train would have returned to India but they picked her up and put her in the relief home in Karachi. This girl is very intelligent also. This is generally not expected by a beggar girl but other theory says that this girl was born to a beggar woman by rape from some unscrupulous man probably a police. There are cases in which police rape beggar women in police lockups and after that these women give birth to child. Such children are always very smart and intelligent just the way this girl is. If we accept this as base for research of her father, we will try to match her DNA with police personnel from Punjab and I am sure will be able to get to him.
I hope my ideas go to Sushma Swaraj and she thinks over them.
