Vote Bank Strategy – 16

Continues from previous post –

I explain my observations here, to make my point clear. At present, banks are dependent for investment of their funds. They depend on somebody to borrow money from them and if that business works well, banks benefit and if things go wrong for whatever cause the bank suffers. We know our bank's have a well-developed technique to verify all such proposals and if bank finds that, the project is acceptable they give loan. However, there are certain aspects those the bank cannot control. They are,
1. Daily managements of the business and
2. Decisions in business
For that, helplessly the bank has to trust that client's working. We have noticed that all bank problems stem out of this one factor. I know of many cases where bank officer begs businesses to take loans from that bank because that officer is obliged to complete certain lending quota. Such helplessness is eventually, misused by some culpable businesses and finally as the business did not actually need that money that loan money is appropriated and this leads to many subsequent wrongs which as you are fully aware leads to bank declaring that loan as write off! A large number of such cases, I have noticed while studying this problem. Many officers have admitted of their helplessness in that matter. Criminal mentality is everywhere, if bank allows for some easy money to such immoral businesses we cannot complain against that business. Matters are hushed up and this leads to ever increasing non-recoverable credits. In addition to that, corruption grows!
