Narendra
Modi talks of doing many things if they get all power but as a voter
I have misgivings on that claim. There is a comparison between these
two parties, Congress and BJP, I studied and I wish to share it with
my readers on this post.
Whatever
may BJP say about Congress, as a voter for fifty years, I have
noticed that Congress party has done much progress and development of
India ever since our independence. Whereas, BJP has yet not started
its account in this country. Whatever developments BJP has achieved
under Modi in Gujarat were possible because he and his government was
given co-operation by the government at the center of Congress party.
If Congress party had not given that co-operation I doubt if any
development Modi could have achieved in Gujarat. That means, if we
have to congratulate Modi for whatever his government has achieved in
Gujarat, we should appreciate the share of Congress in that
achievement as the central government. If Congress party had not
given that co-operation I am sure Modi would not have been able to
achieve what he has achieved as a CM of Gujarat. Same we can say
about progress MP has made under a BJP CM while there was Congress at
the Center. Congress did not behave as a leg puller to stop progress
of these states and allowed free hand for those non-congress party
governments. This behavior of Congress shows their faith in
democratic values and their respect for voter of that state.
This
great tradition Congress set up at the center, of allowing even
opposition party's rule in states without malice is appreciated by me
as a voter and I expected BJP should continue with that tradition but
what we see in the speeches of Modi and BJP president Amit Shah of
BJP, I regret to observe that BJP does not want to continue with this
democratic tradition set up by Congress party during past many years.
Both Modi and Shah have threatened Bihar people that if they do not
vote for BJP and its allies they will not get co-operation from
center! We have been watching how Kejriwal government is being
harassed by BJP government at every point. This means, BJP is a
dangerous party and it may even abolish democracy as it gets majority
in both Loksabha (lower House) and Rajyasabha (upper House). This is
not a good sign for we voters. We should not allow a party to be in
power if it wants to destroy democracy in this way.
I
remember many years back, when Pramod Mahajan was leader in Atal
Bihari Government he had told in one of his interviews that his party
does not believe in democracy and if they get power in both Houses
they will marginalize democracy permanently. He further told in that
interview that his party will want to remain in power forever. I
think, BJP is all out to destroy our well achieved democracy and
bring in typical Brahmanic despotism! If this happens we will be in
great trouble.
When
I compared work schedule of Congress and that of BJP led NDA I see
some measure faults in the working of BJP. Congress had a clear five
year plan schedule and they gave those to people and worked on that.
Our countries progress we could see through these many five year
plans. All topics in those plans were properly justified by giving
their feasibility and viability reports to people. From those reports
we could know that those plans were based on some reliable base. RBI
had approved of all of those five year plans. True to that those five
year plans worked well; we are witness to that. In case of BJP they
do not have any such plans. I shall show some examples to explain my
point.
The
very first commitment Modi made was of a bullet train from Mumbai to
Ahmadabad! On technical grounds it is not possible in this region of
high ambient temperature. A bullet train means by its name a train
that will have a straight route like a bullet pass and it is moving
at speed not less than 300 kph. His government has appointed a
Japanese team to do the investigation on that project; that means,
his government has no confidence in Indian Engineers! Congress party
never insulted Indian engineers as all five years plans were prepared
by Indian experts. The Japanese team has come and offered a route
which is doubtful for understandable reasons. That route goes via
Nasik. That means, it has to drill many tunnels in the mountain of
Sahyadri to reach Nasik and again to go to Ahmadabad they have to
drill other many big tunnels through the mountain range of Aravali
and Satpuda. This will cost a lot of money and the project will be
too expensive for our pocket. The true acceptable route was from
Mumbai to Vapi and from there to Ahmadabad. This clearly shows to me
that Modi plans are not properly guided by proper work, they are
mostly his wishful thinking and daydreaming and so we as voters
should be watchful of that since we will have to bear the brunt of
all these senseless schemes. Second example, that he delivered is of
smart cities. They have not as yet defined what it means! We as
citizens of this country have already realized that the concept of
smart city is one more daydreaming project having no sensibility in
it. To top on that, Modi has come up with some seemingly lucrative
financial schemes (Suraksha) such as insurance scheme, Janadhan and
such others. Interesting part is that none of these financial schemes
our RBI has accepted. At the beginning governor objected to them but
under duress he kept quiet. This shows that these financial schemes
are not economically viable. Here I see measure difference in the two
parties' development schemes all schemes proposed by Congress were
properly worked out and their economics was not in any doubt. RBI
never objected to them. If these so called lucrative schemes are put
to test they will not pass that test; nevertheless, Modi government
is pushing them on people. As a voter I want to protest against it.
All schemes government must get proper approval from RBI and other
critics before implementing them. That is not happening today. If
these schemes fail who will bear the brunt of that? When Modi was
asked it, he said in that situation his government will put tax on
bank depositors on their deposits to recover the losses! That amounts
to filling pocket of one citizen by pickpocketing other citizen! This
clearly shows that Modi team is not capable of doing any good job and
if they continue all depositors in banks will be bankrupt. This is a
very serious situation and if we do not take cognition of this
dangerous style of functioning of this BJP government, our future is
not secured.
All
talk of development Modi team makes without offering any tangible
explanation as to how his development plans will work? Voters should
not accept. Congress never gave any such haphazard talk to people of
India. When it come demand for giving feasibility and viability
presentation, Modi government refuses to offer that. All work is in a
very random style and that is not acceptable to intelligent voters
and should not be accepted by voters.
To
go back to Congress I wish to point out certain unfortunate
developments in that party those took place in it after death of
Narsimvharao. We notice that up to that PM, Congress party was
working properly. However, as ManMohan Singh and other team of Sonia
Gandhi took the charge, corruption and other illegal activities began
to come forth in political circles. That gradually put Congress party
in a bad position. Prior to that period everything was in proper
place and people's faith in that party was repeatedly confirmed
through many elections. If Congress party can remove this team of
Sonia Gandhi from the party's head and brings in a totally new team
that has no concern with this bad team of Sonia Gandhi, Congress
party will again emerge as leading political force in India and we
will be able to vote for it. However, if this bad team of Sonia
Gandhi which includes Rahul Gandhi insists to continue to hold office
in Congress that Congress party has no future.
Sonia
Gandhi does not carry the true legacy of erstwhile Indian National
Congress. She is from a totally different upbringing and belongs to
that Italian mafia culture and true to this observation we see how
she destroyed Congress party. She took all black money put in Swiss
Banks to America and invested in American bonds of FED. By doing that
she has earned good offices of US government. Interesting part is
that all money is invested in her Italian maiden name and also as
citizen of Italy! Every body knows it as it is an open secret.
Congress party should get rid of her and her team and cleanse itself
of all those wrong people and if it can achieve it, I am sure that
Congress party will again come in power and help India forge ahead.
You must be thinking that I am a Congress man! Sorry you are wrong, I
am actually a member of BJP party. I want to explain how this
happened.
Modi
asked all Indian voters to join BJP by making a call. I called and in
no time I was given a membership of that party. I joined it because I
wanted to help Modi in his task in developing our country. After
joining it I happened to meet some members of BJP in Chembur where I
stay. There I got a shock of my life that this membership is one
other hoax Modi is playing with voters and actually it does not make
any sense, they told me that I better forget that I am a member of
that party and keep out of it. One fellow told me to be a working
member of BJP one has to put a lot of money in the coffer of this
party. He further told me that they have to purchase their place in
the party! It is all business and no national service as it pretends
to be. When I happened to meet one important BJP whip Mr. Laddharam,
he also confirmed that such membership does not have any value in
that party. As this happened I began to research in the style of
working of this party and gradually everything became clear to me.
To
conclude my this document, I request Modi administration to come
clear about all its schemes and prove their technical viabilities and
economic feasibility to people and not waste time making theatrical
speeches. Let all schemes be properly approved by RBI so there is no
doubt in minds of voters about them. Similarly, I also request
genuine Congress people to get that dirty head of Sonia Gandhi team,
chopped off and put in some more reliable head of some genuine people
from the party who carry legacy of late Narsimvharao and I am sure
Congress will come in power once again.
